A WORKSOP man who filmed himself speeding at 130mph in has been jailed for eight months- and we've got the footage of him risking life and limb at excessive speeds.
To watch the film click the green button.
Pictured is Dion Griffin, 33, of George Street, Worksop, who used his own phone to record himself as he drove along the A614 near Ollerton at speeds of up to 130mph.
Putting himself and others at great risk the footage clearly show Griffin over-taking other vehicles dangerously and illegally at very high speeds, and at one point he even turns the camera proudly on himself.
On Thursday 15th May Griffin admitted dangerous driving at Nottingham Crown Court.
Police said they found footage of him in his Mini Cooper S after seizing a number of mobile phones in connection with another offence.
"Travelling at such speeds and ignoring road markings significantly increases the risk of having an accident," said Chf Insp Andy Charlton, from Nottinghamshire Police.
"Other motorists could easily have misjudged this vehicle's speed and turned into its path."
