I HAVE continued my fight to get toilets installed for those who visit Hannah Park cemetery in town.
I have been fobbed off again after three years of promises by a certain party to whom I had faith in.

But alas, no more, I have received plans which were drawn up on 15th September 1994, with toilets and an office building to be built by 1996-97.

Twelve years on and hence still to be built. All the services are laid on i.e. water and electricity, but what’s the delay? Nothing, only broken promises made to me by Bassetlaw Council.

The letter I received is posted up on the notice board in the cemetery.

GEOFF COE

Ex-Independent Councillor

Yes, it will boost shopping in Worksop and Retford
No, the charges aren't very much anyway and the council needs the revenue
