Once again when I returned from work at 4.30 today, I tried to park my car outside or near my house on Aughton Road, but to no avail.
It was never a problem in the past, but since the new swimming pool at Aston opened myself and many residents cannot park our own cars near our houses due to the many many people parking on the road when they are taking children either to swimming lessons or going to the gym.

I am absolutely disgusted with Rotherham Council, the car park provided is so small they must have known people would park on the road.

I am sure the councillors would not like to park their cars out of sight and sometimes two or three minutes’ walk away from their houses.

The exit from the pool is on the brow of a hill – there have been quite a few near misses already. I am just waiting for the next serious accident to happen, especially when the children are arriving/ leaving Aston Comp.

What have the councillors to say for themselves?
