I'M A concerned local driver and have lived in Worksop all my life. My gripe is of a certain mobile speed camera unit that parks itself on a public footpath at the junction of Hardwick Road and Retford Road in Manton.
Not only is it parked on a public footpath, but it is clearly blocking the exit of the T-junction.

My question to the police is – Are you going to fine the driver of the speed camera unit for illegal parking and for lack of due care and attention in restricting other drivers’ line of vision whilst parking on a public footpath?

Should there ever be an accident at this junction whilst they are operating, will you be held responsible for your action of your officers? We’d all like to hear your answer on this.
