IN MY opinion, Bassetlaw Council invested the £8 million of taxpayers' money wisely, as any good housekeeper does – that is, to get the best return possible.
But sometimes, such as at present, things go wrong. Hopefully the money isn’t lost.

But whenever the council is asked to fork out a bob or two to help out such local causes as playground facilities, annual festivals, toilet facilities at the cemetery or helping our local football club Worksop Town FC, the answer nine times oiut of 10 is... there’s no money available.

Now we all know that there is plenty of money available... so get your house in order, Bassetlaw Council, and give us all value for money.
