I am a 17-year-old student living in Worksop. After reading the article about Worksop library I found it disgusting that the old building, which is a brilliant piece of architecture and is a listed building is getting left to go to rack and ruin.
It's sad that Notts County Council cannot think of a better idea, such as incorporating the old with the new and outruling the idea of demolition of another piece of Worksop's past that is slowly but surely disappearing.

Maybe it’s time we appreciated what we have left, like other towns in the area, and for just once think about renovation of this historic piece of bygone Worksop.
