Can anyone tell me why Worksop wants all the upheaval of a new roundabout at the junction of Carlton Road and Blyth Road, a new Tesco, another sports arena and another cinema?
I wonder if all these people who suggest these projects really go into details before they come up with these bright ideas.

Haven’t they bothered to see how many people use the facilities?

I don't think so, or they would see how good the amenities at the Bassetlaw Sports Centre are since its refurbishment.

It's the same with a new cinema – why can’t we just have the one we have already turned into just ONE big screen?

We already have the lovely Acorn theatre as an alternative choice, and I am sure it would not cost half as much.

By the way, how many of these councillors support these facilities we have already?
