DONCASTER Rovers defender Andy Boyce is making his return for Worksop Town.
The 6'4 defender won himself a full-time contract at Rovers last season and impressed while on loan at Sandy Lane.

Tigers manager Peter Rinkcavage has confirmed to the Guardian that Boyce has agreed to return to the club for another six-month loan spell.

Speaking after Tuesday night's game against Hucknall Town, he expressed his delight at once again capturing the services of Boyce.

He said: "He's doing well for Doncaster Rovers and we're very pleased to get him in again."

"He's training full time with Doncaster over the summer and he will have matured."

Rinkcavage expressed his thanks to Rovers for allowing Boyce to go out on loan again.

He added: "I'm really grateful to Doncaster for helping us out and hopefully we can do them a favour by giving him a decent quality of football and some games."

Rinkcavage will continue to run his eye over trialists, such as Dave McClements, as Tigers continue their pre-season schedule.

The next stop for Worksop Town on their tour of the region was Belper Town (last night) before a break from games.

Whilst disappointed at conceding five goals on Tuesday, Rinkcavage is happy with the progress his squad is making.

He told the Guardian: "I thought they gave us a lesson in finishing really."

"I'm happy with the run out, it's all about getting players fit and taking a look at people."

"I thought there were a lot of things we did well, and obviously a lot we need to work on."
