Pensioner killed while driving his mobility scooter is named

POLICE have named the Langold pensioner who was killed after his mobility scooter collided with a dustbin truck.
Derek Baines, 76, of Mellish Road, Langold, had been travelling along Mellish Road in his mobility scooter on Thursday 10th July when he was involved in a collision with a refuse truck.

He suffered multiple serious injuries and later died at Bassetlaw Hospital.
