A WORKSOP artist is enjoying success with an eye-catching debut solo exhibition on display in Sheffield.
Michael Latimer, who grew up in the town and moved to Rotherham two years ago, has dozens of his original creations currently being shown at The Forum.

“I always drew when I was little,” said the 31-year-old. “I think normal people stop as they grow up, but the longer you do something the better you get at it.”

“I think I could have held an exhibition before now, but I just wanted to save it until I had a really large mound of work.”

Michael said his artistic streak helps him with his day job, working as a creative director for U-Xplore in Rotherham.

He also runs Lowercase Industry, an online store selling t-shirts, prints and pin badges displaying his own characters and montages.

The Michael Latimer Exhibition continues at the Forum in Sheffield until 10th August. For more information about his work visit www.lowercaseindustry.com
