We have been living in the Gers in SW France for the past 9 years and love it here.
We are still working, trying to sell this way of life
to more and more Brits.

We are close to Toulouse and the Pyrenees, and even the Med is only 2 hours away.

In most years we come back to the UK 3 or 4 times though not always to the Retford/Worksop area.

To some extent we miss the political argy-bargy -- but not a lot!

Great idea of the Guardian to have an expat corner.

Regards to all
Martyn and Gabrielle Cleasby
